Rescue 59 also features a 6000 watt light tower and 12 kw generator,mobile cascade system,  Amkus hydraulic rescue tools,and a host of specialized rescue tools.      Rescue 59 The piece is also certified through the PA Dept. of Health as an "Advanced Rescue" as well as QRV certified when all the BLS units are out of service. Rescue 59 responds on all  structure fires, motor vehicle accidents, and specialized rescues in the boroughs of Mayfield and Jermyn, and is also on the Lackawanna County Decon Team.  Ambulance 59-9 (BLS) -2000 "AEV"  This unit is first out the door for all BLS/ALS medical, trauma calls for the boroughs of Mayfield and Jermyn.  Ambulance 59-9 Ambulance 59-9 is also a member of the PA Dept of Health's Surge Response Team and is capable of responding anywhere in the state and be able to operate for up to two weeks.
