Ambulance
makeover
On November 1, William Walker Hose Co. took
delivery of a 1996 AEV “Trauma Hawk”. The unit was purchased from the Greenfield
Township Fire Dept. On 03/21/06 We took a short road trip over to see how
our new/used ambulance is making out at the body shop. Myself EMS Captain59
(Andy) EMS Lieut. 59-3B (Aimee) and Asst. Engineer (Joe Brown) found our
ambulance outside with a fresh coat of paint! We spoke to the guys down
at Sar's and they hope to get the job done for us by Friday! They are doing
a excellent job for us. Lots of work has gone into making this ambulance
look as good as our newer one. Keep checking back for further updates.
There
was no word of any serious injuries. Units remained on scene for approximately
